Cemevis are the Places of Worship of Alevis!

Cemevis are the Places of Worship of Alevis!
Defining Cemevis as “social and cultural facilities” in zoning plans is another name for ignoring the Alevi faith and stalling the demand for equal citizenship.
While mosques, churches, and synagogues are recognized as places of worship, excluding Cemevis from this category is a deliberate act of discrimination.
This is not a technical regulation; it is the official document of denial.
Alevism is not folklore. The Cem is not a ritual, it is worship. A Cemevi is not a cultural center, it is a place of worship.
The state cannot define the faith of millions of Alevis through bureaucratic wordplay.
We state clearly from here: Cemevis are places of worship. You cannot destroy this reality by erasing it from legislation.
No administration has the authority to describe our faith or define our places of worship.
Cemevis are places of worship. You shall accept this reality.
We demand equal citizenship. Not just in words, but in law and in practice.
